Jet Crash

During the Sunday demonstration show, among the big jets crashed simply off the west end of the field. I believe this was an Ultralightning to start with. Here is the debris field right after the crash, before anyone arrived. Nobody was hurt, and there was no residential or commercial property damage … besides the obvious.

My brother and I had to do with 150 backyards from the point of impact, which is back by the traffic cone. The jet was on its side with the left wing down when it struck. It had finished a couple really quick low passes and looked like it was setting up for another. It was relying on associate the runway and it looked like the controls stuck, it just kept doing what it had actually been doing right into the ground. It struck the ground at a fairly shallow angle, possibly 15 degrees, left wingtip initially which whipped the nose of the fuselage into the ground. Debris is topped about 50 lawns, the turbine engine remains in the foreground, it took a trip the furthest. The traffic cone was a boundary marker for a parking lot. Hard to estimate the speed at the time of the crash, it had made a blistering pass or 2, and this appeared like another, so I would think in excess of 200mph. If I’ve got the design right, it had a span of 90″, length of 107″, and cost countless dollars.
