? Well … It tops out at 1080. 4k is now the golden kid, and i do not intend on buying any longer 1080 electronic cameras, so it appears a bit like investing in the past. It’s not entirely wise to think that method though, because 1080 didn’t all of a sudden become bad looking due to the fact that of 4k, on the contrary; it looks extraordinary. Numerous big motion pictures back this up. However if you’re a working shooter, and your customers are inquiring about 4k, than that’s a story you must tell to the shogun, Atomos’s $2000 4k recorder. The problem atomos developed for me was the introduction of the ninja star, their tiny, screen-less,$ 300
recorder. Including that to my C100 would be a quite unobtrusive method to up the codec, and would provide me the choice to have an external screen or not as i so select based upon what i’m shooting. But to have all of it in one refined bundle is extremely engaging indeed. Source
