“The idea for the exhibition came from seeing how hundreds of artists were connecting and collaborating around the world through brooklynartproject.com/” says Co-Founder James Cospito,” it inspired us to explore how that interconnectedness fuels creativity and the creative process.”
“Ten years ago the web was mostly about ecommerce, email, and technology, now it’s about communities, collaborations and sociology. Through focused projects with institutions like the Brooklyn Academy of Music, our goal is to build global ‘platforms of participation’ that go beyond the gallery walls and empower artists to create and be inspired in ways never before possible” says brooklynartproject.com/ Co-Founder, Anthony Cospito.
“We are very excited to be working with brooklynartproject.com/ on this exhibition,” says David Harper, BAMart Curator. “Our missions truly cross paths being simultaneously global yet Brooklyn-centric, highlighting a broad range of art, music and new technologies.”
