The 2yo’s imagination continues to surprise me. His present preferred book, Farmyard Tales, has a great deal of excellent short stories about the experiences of the Boot household farm. One story is how a gentle cart horse named “Dolly”, owned by farmer Dray, pulls a broken down train back to the station.
By absolutely no prompting by his parental units, he re-enacted this story with his toys. I needed to catch it. I’m quite sure he’s a genius.
