So I go to Amazon to order a book, From Poverty to Prosperity: Intangible Assets, Hidden Liabilities and The Lasting Triumph over Scarcity, by Arnold Kling and Nick Schultz. (Which I did later, but that’s another story.) Mouse over the image above to see how relevant any of that promotional stuff is to me. The short of it: I have never wanted a Kindle (unless it opens up and becomes generative) and I already own all three recommended McPhee books, at least one of which I am sure I bought from Amazon.
