DVL was asked to create and establish a new website and advertising program for a regional retail chain, Old Time Pottery, based upon navigation that mirrored the business’s core business sales model and five essential sales sectors.
Our methods included:
1) Develop eye-catching products and focus the message on item and value: This brand-new website was the first time the client’s customer might look for and find private items with descriptions and price.
2) Keep customers engaged and intrigued by frequently upgrading the website with brand-new products: The site was upgraded frequently with new products. This offered a reason for the customer to keep visiting the website and to keep can be found in the shop.
3) Feature merchandise through e-mail (which linked back to the website) and increase top-of-mind awareness through more regular interactions.

Results went beyond expectations. There was an 81 percent increase in site gos to over the previous year and a 119 percent increase in the e-mail database. Open rates (15%) and click through rates (over 27%) exceeded industry averages.
