Date May, 2012. Ignition, RSA Films, and 20th Century Fox interacted to develop a multi-phased effort that presented fans and brand-new audiences to the abundant story world around Prometheus through a powerful mix of social, conventional and transmedia storytelling.
We released Peter Weyland’s TEDTalk from 2023 at TED2012, partnered with both Mashable and Verizon FIOS to debut a David 8 product commercial and joined forces with Microsoft to unlock an unique clip from the movie on stage throughout Microsoft’s E3 X-Box Smartglass statement occasion.
The campaign hub was developed and carried out as a fully-realized company site, which spiraled out extra content, interactive experiences, and initial videos. Each event was supplemented through puzzles, social networks cross-pollination, and other strategies that guaranteed maximum presence and engagement over the course of the campaign.
The campaign for Prometheus has been held up as a benchmark for digital marketing by Forbes, Mashable, and Quick Business, to name a few.
