Rivet & Cuff

Brief- Create a “How it works” video for start up ecommerce company that covers both the concept behind the brand and the technology that makes it possible in a fun way in under 60 seconds.

Concept- An informative promotional stop motion video addressing the problem that Rivet & Cuff has solved regarding online shopping for men’s Jeans. Featuring a voiceover accompanying imagery illustrating the way to use the online fit tool, as well as clips of the user experience on the site. 30-60 seconds.
“Making buying jeans a snap!”
Opening logo graphic and voice introduction. Jeans will unfold themselves out on a wood surface. paper will come into frame and a graphic overlay will call out paper size and orientation using brand fonts and colors. At this point, a hand comes into frame holding a phone ready to snap the photo. We then move into screen shots and interactions from the site and close with the Rivet & Cuff logo.

Turnaround- Three days

Summary- Using stop motion photography as the main component, I storyboarded, photographed, executed a voice over, and edited this video in three days. I wanted to use stop motion as it provided a unique and fun solution to the problem of explaining the company’s developing “one-fit” technology. I performed the voice over myself due to the turnaround and budget. I don’t think I sound that bad.
