E-commerce, or electronic commerce, is the trading of items and services over an electronic network, mainly the internet. These deals vary from business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), consumer-to-consumer, or consumer-to-business.
E-commerce rose to appeal in the 1990s with websites like Amazon and eBay. All kinds of consumer goods are offered online from clothes to electronic devices to family items. However for whatever you buy online as a consumer, B2B deals really overshadow B2C in regards to raw volume.
